KIJK article: Food for Panic?

No more cups of coffee, no more chocolate mousse, no glass of French wine, no peanut butter on your sandwich and no banana as a snack. This nightmare for bon vivants can become true, because all these delicacies are likely to disappear or become too expensive.

For the Dutch popular scientific magazine KIJK I wrote an article about five popular foods: coffee, chocolate, peanuts, bananas and wine. All suffer from the effects of climate change and unsustainability of production. I interviewed for this article Lucas Simons, CEO of New Foresight and former director of labeling organization UTZ.

Are you interested in the article? E-mail me and I will send it to you. You can read the story about coffee here (in Dutch).
